Villa Fenicottero - Villa in Sizilien

This villa was perfect in every way. The facilities, the pool and outdoor areas were stunning. We received a very warm welcome and the owner stayed in touch throughout the week checking that all was ok. The best thing about this villa was the small little touches like mosquito plug-ins and sprays, outdoor mosquitoe automatic sprays and some basic toiletries in the bathrooms. We were also greeted with a box of fresh tomatoes and peppers, a tray of crackers and biscuits, a tray of fruit and bottles of water and juice - so thoughtful. The villa and outdoor areas were immaculately clean and we couldn't have asked for anything more. Also an excellent location - quiet and peaceful but not far from the local beaches and towns. Will definitely be going again!!

Siamo stati al Fenicottero con la nostra famiglia (10 persone, fra cui i 2 nonni e 4 bambini da 2 a 9 anni) da Olanda e ci siamo trovati molto bene. Il tempo fine aprile era meno caldo che ci aspettavamo, quindi non abbiamo potuto sedersi fuori la sera (un gran peccato, perché la sistemazione è proprio molto bella durante la sera). Ciononostante abbiamo goduto della piscina, della cucina fuori, la vista sul lago con i fenicotteri (!). Per una famiglia come la nostra la struttura con tre case sullo stesso complesso è stato ideale: ogni famiglia poteva ritirarsi nella propria casa, ma i bambini potevano giocare tra di loro senza che i genitori ci dovevano badare. Il Fenicottero è localizzato perfetto per scoprire il Sud-Est della Sicilia: Siracusa, Noto, Marzamemi, (le Cave di) Ispica e Donnafugata abbiamo visitato con un massimo di un'ora in macchina. E alla spiaggia ci si arriva camminando. Ad ogni piccola cosa (succede sempre qualcosa di improvvisa in vacanza) abbiamo potuto chiamare lo staff del Fenicottero e hanno risolto il problema nel maniera più presto possibile. Il più grande effetto su di noi ha avuto ja qualità della frutta e verdura che abbiamo trovato nella casa: la qualità dei sapori siciliani ci ha fatto impressione. Tutti e dieci avremo nostalgia del Fenicottero adesso che siamo tornati in Olanda, ma ci rimangono le memorie. Jan Willem Mathijssen

La proprietà è situata in una zona tranquilla e strategica, da cui è facile raggiungere le numerose meraviglie della zona. La struttura è nuova, costruita ed arredata con grande gusto ed attenzione a garantire il massimo comfort per gli ospiti. Nelle belle abitazioni non manca nulla e la zona comune offre piscina, solarium, cucina all'aperto con uno spettacolare tavolo ricavato da un pozzo. L'ospitalità dei padroni di casa, straordinaria per gentilezza e simpatia, è stata la ciliegina sulla torta in una vacanza indimenticabile.

Our group were three separate families with 6 kids and 4 adults within this fantastic villa which we occupied for two weeks. We had plenty of space located around three sets of accommodation within two separate buildings, all fully fitted with separate kitchen and bathroom facilities. The villa was equipped to a high standard with air con in each bedroom and everything that you need for a relaxing holiday. The pool was maintained each morning and the facilities were second to none. Although it was a 20 minute drive to the nearest town, it was only a short drive to several of the local beaches and restaurants. Communication between myself and the management team was good at all stages before, during and after the holiday, and we had no issues at all. We were the first guests to stay at this villa and I would thoroughly recommend it to any families or couples looking for a great holiday in a fantastic villa; it was a brilliant villa.
